The PRA administers a whatsapp community, PRA Pulse, for residents and the I Love Parkview and Parkview, Johannesburg Facebook pages. Our Insta page is at parkview_residents_association. Our newsletter, Parkview Pulse, keeps residents informed of PRA initiatives and events. Events
The PRA organises several events throughout the year including Halloween, Movie in the Park, Autumn Run, Spring Run and the Parkview Heritage Festival, featuring ParkWords, ParkKids, ParkWine and ParkFood. These are fabulous occasions that bring residents together and build community spirit. The PRA appreciates the support of local businesses, which often co-sponsor these events.
Blood drives
The PRA works closely with the South African National Blood Service to organise and support bi-monthly blood donation drives, a life-saving initiative. Blood drives are held regularly at St Columba’s Church in Lurgan Road. Blood drive dates are shared on the I Love Parkview Facebook page, the PRA whatsapp community and in our newsletters.
